Floriana Youth Teams in Welsh Super cup
A contingent of 40 people, made up of 26 players, 3 officials and 11 parents left Malta on Saturday 24th July, to participate in Welsh Super Cup to be hosted in Aberystwyth, Wales between 25th- 31st July.
11 players born in1999 and 15 players born between 1996 and 1997 are going to take part. The contingent is led by Mr Laurence Borg, with coaches Mr Philip Pisani and Mr Tony Alamango.

Floriana Youth Teams back from Welsh Super cup
Floriana F.C. Nursery participated for the first time in the Welsh Super Cup in Aberyswyth, which was held between the 25th July and the 31ST July.
Floriana Nursery participated with two groups, one in the under 11 and the other in the under 14 categories. These groups were led by Mr Laurence Borg and two coaches Mr Philip Pisani and Mr Tony Alamango.
The under 11 group had a very good tournament and managed to place third in the Welsh Super Cup.Also a very positive thing was that a couple of our young players in this group caught the eyes of various scouts from Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa and Man Utd, The nursery already received e mails from these clubs enquiring about these players .
The under 14 group had a very good run in their group games drawing one game and winning all the rest with very good performances.This placed them in the semi finals and finalist in the Challenge Cup, which they lost on aggregate of 2-1. The performance of this group was of a very high level and it also caught the eye of the organizers and naming them as on of the best team of this age.
On the last day the boys were taken on a cultural excursion and in the afternoon to the shopping centre.
The Floriana F.C. Nursery wishes to thank the whole contingent,players parents, coaches and delegate for their wonderfull behaviour through out the tournament,leading to being praised personally by the organizers as one of the most behaved and educated contingent.
